How to Create a Chocolate Coca-Cola Mug Cake with Share a Coke
Are you knee-deep in the busy holiday season yet?
The holidays are pure insanity around here, not just in my personal life, but here on the Divas Can Cook as well.
My inbox gets swamped with questions, comments and invitations. It’s really exciting and exhausting, but yet every holiday I always seem to get through it just fine. How you ask? Two words, my husband!
Seriously guys, I honestly don’t know where I’d be without that amazing man!
When the kitchen is a wreck after a full day of filming cooking videos, he swoops right in and cleans everything up.
When I’m stressing over holiday post deadlines he takes the boys on fun adventures to get them out of the house so that I can have peace and quiet to work.
Oh and I can’t even count the multiple times he’s done emergency grocery store runs to pick up items I always seem to forget!
He truly is my saving grace around this time of year and that is why my I’m recognizing him as my “unsung holiday hero”!
I’ve teamed up with Coca-Cola’s #ShareaCoke to shine the spotlight on the amazing people in our lives that go the extra mile to make the holidays extra special.
Whether it’s the friendly cashier that always greets you with a warm smile, the dedicated teacher that helps your child make holiday gifts or even your neighbor who passes out homemade holiday cookies, these unsung heroes often go unnoticed.
Yet, they go above and beyond to make sure the people around them are happy. This busy holiday season is the perfect time to show them just how much we appreciate them. Nothing says thoughtfulness like a customized gift! Coco-Cola’s #ShareaCoke allows you to create personalized coke bottles with a name or phrase.
They are great as affordable stand-alone gifts and stocking stuffers or paired in a gift basket.
To show my husband just how much I appreciate him I created this quick and easy chocolate Cocoa-Cola mug cake gift. He isn’t much of a cook and he loves chocolate cake and Coca-Cola so this was the perfect gift for him. I placed it on the driver’s seat in his truck right before he was about to run one of my many last minute grocery store errands.
He really loved the gift!

#ShareaCoke is every person that gets up on Christmas morning, day, etc and goes to the the local soup kitchen, shelters, and beyond to el prepare and serve food to those in need. Every person who visits those in hospitals, orphanages, and senior care facilities, I am thinking of you too. You… yes you are my unsung Christmas heroes.
My hero is my husband. He’s in the military and works very long hours, but still will come home, help out with dishes and give our children baths so that I can relax just a little. He goes above and beyond for us. We haven’t had many holidays together because of deployments and military training so when we do get to spend it together we soak up every moment of each day.
#ShareaCoke My father was my unsung holiday hero. He made the holidays very special for us, by telling us stories. I lived on a small farm, and he told me that the cattle would kneel down at midnight on Christmas Eve, in anticipation of the birth of Christ. He had me convinced, and I can remember arguing with him (as a small child) that I would be alright sleeping in the barn by myself on Christmas Eve, so I could see this magnificent happening, for myself. He passed away when I was 14 years old, but I assure you, I will never forget the holidays I got to spend with him. Merry Christmas from my home to yours. 🙂
My unsung hero my hubby and kids that support me and inspire me everyday to keep pushing and make my dreams come true, even when I’m not feeling confident they tell me no way keep going we love u . They Rock! Through ups and downs.
#shareacoke. My unsung holiday hero is my mom. She is the back bone of my family. She never show us that she’s tired or hurting. She always cooks the best meals for her family during the holiday. She always gets the best for the kids. She always does everything with love.
My hero has to be my mom. I’ve never loved anyone more than I do her. She’s probably the only person to unconditionally love me for me. Ive been blessed with such a great person to show me how to be a decent human being. I admire the way she works hard to provide and the empathy and love that she has for others in need, even when she doesn’t have a lot to offer herself. She finds the true importance in life besides materialistic things and shares it with others and I’m soo soo so greatful that she shares them with me too. I couldn’t have asked for a better role model. Thank you God!
My Mom is my unsung hero. Raising seven children after my dad passed. She worked hard doing domestic job’s so that we siblings had a happy Christmas. A cancer survivor she is a very strong woman of faith. She loves to cook.,making the best apple cobblers.
