How to Create a Chocolate Coca-Cola Mug Cake with Share a Coke
Are you knee-deep in the busy holiday season yet?
The holidays are pure insanity around here, not just in my personal life, but here on the Divas Can Cook as well.
My inbox gets swamped with questions, comments and invitations. It’s really exciting and exhausting, but yet every holiday I always seem to get through it just fine. How you ask? Two words, my husband!
Seriously guys, I honestly don’t know where I’d be without that amazing man!
When the kitchen is a wreck after a full day of filming cooking videos, he swoops right in and cleans everything up.
When I’m stressing over holiday post deadlines he takes the boys on fun adventures to get them out of the house so that I can have peace and quiet to work.
Oh and I can’t even count the multiple times he’s done emergency grocery store runs to pick up items I always seem to forget!
He truly is my saving grace around this time of year and that is why my I’m recognizing him as my “unsung holiday hero”!
I’ve teamed up with Coca-Cola’s #ShareaCoke to shine the spotlight on the amazing people in our lives that go the extra mile to make the holidays extra special.
Whether it’s the friendly cashier that always greets you with a warm smile, the dedicated teacher that helps your child make holiday gifts or even your neighbor who passes out homemade holiday cookies, these unsung heroes often go unnoticed.
Yet, they go above and beyond to make sure the people around them are happy. This busy holiday season is the perfect time to show them just how much we appreciate them. Nothing says thoughtfulness like a customized gift! Coco-Cola’s #ShareaCoke allows you to create personalized coke bottles with a name or phrase.
They are great as affordable stand-alone gifts and stocking stuffers or paired in a gift basket.
To show my husband just how much I appreciate him I created this quick and easy chocolate Cocoa-Cola mug cake gift. He isn’t much of a cook and he loves chocolate cake and Coca-Cola so this was the perfect gift for him. I placed it on the driver’s seat in his truck right before he was about to run one of my many last minute grocery store errands.
He really loved the gift!

Definitely my husband. He sometimes surprises me at work by randomly showing up to say hi or drop off a latte from our favorite local coffee shop. According to my coworkers, I light up like a little Christmas tree whenever I see him walking in, and they get a real kick out of it. Ten years, and we still got that spark. ~_^
#ShareaCoke My Holiday Heros are my family, friends, and line sisters, because they have continued to support me throughout all my life decisions, even when I doubted myself. A great example is my current situation with wanting to continue my education. I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Health Sciences from The University of West Florida in Fall 2015. I worked a little afterwards, and in less than a year I felt the need to go back to pursue a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree. However, I did not take many science-based classes while in my undergrad education, so I figured it would be okay for me to go back. There were so many obsticles I faced when I was trying to go back into school and once I was in, during the semester, I questioned why I decided to go back to school, because it is a sacrifice. But with the great support system I have, I was able to keep my confidence and not question why all the time. Things happen for a reason, and im making a better life for me and for my future. By God’s Grace and all of my Holiday Heros, I completed the semester with amazing grades (A’s and B’s) and I feel better than ever and ready to knock these other prerequisite classes out the ballpark.
Side note: I absolutely love your recipes! Thank you for taking the time to share these great recipes with us.
My sister-in-law Bridgette, for sure. They have 6 kids, yet she always decorates the whole house and yard, bakes from scratch, helps the kids shop for presents, takes the kids to their parties, and maintains her spirit of joy.
#ShareaCoke. My holiday hero”s” are my trio of best friends who keep the holidays rockin’ and keep me smiling through what can be a tough time!
Cola#shareacoke. My unsung holiday hero.. Y’all may think this is crazy but my granddaughter will always be mines. You see I lost her in 2014 at 15 months. She was my first and only granddaughter. Her first Christmas she was only 6 months. So I didn’t really get a chance to see her enjoy her first Christmas she would know. So every year I put an picture ornament of her on my tree. She will always be my angel forever, especially holidays.
