“Creamy, homemade mint white hot chocolate made in the crock pot! Garnished with crushed chocolate mint cookies and homemade whipped cream! Sweet enough to be a dessert!”

Watch me make this Crock-Pot Mint White Hot Chocolate from start to finish!

Something about seeing mint-green white hot chocolate steaming away in a crock-pot surrounded by fun garnished like chocolate mint cookies and homemade whipped cream makes it hard for folks to resist! It’s always receives plenty of “ohhh it’s mint white hot chocolate!” whenever I serve this at parties.

Have you ever made hot chocolate in a crock pot? Let me tell you it’s a joy to come in from the cold and have hot chocolate already hot and waiting. My mom use to make big batches of homemade hot chocolate whenever we were wrapping Christmas gift or whenever it snowed. Having hot chocolate around the clock was our treat and as kids we so looked forward to those special traditions.

It’s so easy to just throw everything in the crock pot and go on about your day! I don’t normally have a favorite recipe that I use, I usually just throw a variety of milk and chocolate chips in the crock-pot and add vanilla extract and enough sugar to my liking. It always comes out good. However I was excited to try this recipe after seeing the milk chocolate version on  wishesndishes.com . It was the third time in a week I’d seen similar recipes for crock-pot hot chocolate using sweetened condensed milk!

Yep this was truly a sign that I needed it in my life and wow! Sweetened condensed milk creates such a creamy and SWEET hot chocolate. I LOVE hot chocolate that can act as a dessert and this one fits the bill. If you like the more “subtle” hot chocolates then you may want to cut down on the sweetened condensed milk. My husband took one sip and said ” oh wow..yeah..that’s sweet. Good but very sweet”

Ha! Rookie! Me on the other hand was just sipping away as happy as can be in my mint white hot chocolate heaven!

This mint white hot chocolate AKA Grinch Punch as Isaac calls it, is so festive for Christmas or even St. Patricks Day! Chocolate and mint play so well together and adding in that splash of mint gives a subtle yet definitely there minty taste. If you’re a white chocolate fan, you’ll love this version of white hot chocolate.

It’s creamy, silky smooth, sweet, refreshing and comforting! Throw some in the crock-pot and sip away all day.
