I love easy fudge recipes! When I posted this 3-ingredient chocolate fudge last year, I knew that many more variations would follow. It’s one of those recipes that you just can’t wait to taste in different flavors.

Mint fudge and peanut butter fudge are on the to-do list, but for now, this easy white chocolate fudge is giving me everything I need! It’s so pretty and the perfect canvas for so many fun toppings!

What I love about this easy white chocolate fudge recipe

  1. Easy: If you can melt chocolate, then you can make this fudge, seriously. My boys love making this fudge because it can be made entirely in the microwave if needed. It’s a cheat version of homemade fudge that’s practically fail-proof, and no candy thermometer needed.
  2. Delicious: This white chocolate fudge is super creamy, smooth, and rich. It’s hard to stop at just one piece!
  3. Perfect gift: Fudge is a popular gift for Christmas, and this easy and quick recipe makes it even better!
  4. Fun to make: There are so many ways to customize this recipe by adding sprinkles, cranberries, cherries, pistachio nuts, food coloring, or different extracts.

Tips for making the BEST easy white chocolate fudge

  • Use quality ingredients- Since this white chocolate fudge only uses a few ingredients, it’s important to stick with the best quality, if possible.
  • Be careful when melting- To prevent scorching, melt the chocolate on lower heat while stirring constantly. You can use a double boiler if desired. If using the microwave, use short intervals and be sure to stir after each interval.
  • Allow to cool completely. Be patient with the cooling process. This fudge needs to cool completely in order to set into a firm texture.
  • Use a sharp knife. When it’s time to cut the fudge, use a sharp knife to make smooth, even cuts.

How to make White Chocolate Fudge

INGREDIENTS

  • White Chocolate Chips – Use your favorite brand of white chocolate since this will be the primary flavor. I love using chopped Dove white chocolate candy bars.
  • Sweetened condensed milk- This is used to sweeten the fudge and give an ultra-smooth and creamy texture.
  • Sea salt- Balances out the sweetness.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan over low heat, add white chocolate chips. (see note)
  3. Stir constantly until the chocolate melted and stir in salt.
  4. Remove from heat and immediately stir in sweetened condensed milk just until combined.
  5. Immediately pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth into an even layer. (The mixture will begin to thicken quickly. I like to use an offset spatula to smooth the surface.)
  6. Press sprinkles onto the top if using.
  7. Cover and place in the fridge for 1 hour or until firmly set.
  8. Remove fudge from the pan, and using a sharp knife, slice it into 1-inch cubes.
  9. Store at room temperature in an airtight container.

Common questions

  1. Can I use different types of chocolate chips? Yes, you can, but this will change the flavor. Feel free to use milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or semi-sweet chocolate chips!
  2. Can this be made in the microwave? Yes! Be sure to use a microwave-safe bowl and melt in intervals.
  3. Why is my fudge grainy? If there are water droplets in the saucepan or if the sugar crystallizes during the cooking process, the fudge can take on a grainy texture. Be sure the pan is completely dry, that you stir constantly, and do not let the mixture boil. You only need enough heat to melt the chocolate.
  4. Can I freeze white chocolate fudge? Yes! Wrap in a few layers of plastic wrap and a layer of aluminum foil. Next, place in a freezer bag for up to 2 months.
  5. Can I use regular milk instead of condensed milk in white chocolate fudge? No, this recipe needs condensed milk in order to firm up correctly. It provides the sweetness and creamy texture needed.
