Last month I mentioned I’d done a little interview with Black Enterprise and would let you guys know when it should be out. Well those fine folks over there are super FAST because it’s already published! I was thinking it wouldn’t be out until like 2-3 months.
Divas Can Cook has a little side write up in this months issue (November 2011) of Black Enterprise. This issue covers the black food industry (black food bloggers, chefs, restaurant owners, all that yummy stuff!) Very interesting so be sure to check it out!!
I want to take the time to thank Black Enterprise so much for this opportunity.
A big thank you to Alisa Gumbs for being so patient with me during the week long email tagging (I’m surprise they didn’t just say “girl bye”) and photo resizing issues. (Who struggles trying to resize a photo? ME!! lol smh)
Such a great magazine with great people!!! I appreciate you guys so much for everything you do for the black community!!
Absolutely love your recipes !!!
I love you so much and I’m so happy for you!!! You really should have your own cooking show. I think you have this amazing, bubbly personality which would work great especially for a young audience. You inspire me as an African American mother of two. Every time I cook I always manage to say “…until its nice and combined…”. Gotta love it! God bless you always and much success!!!!
That ITALIAN cake in delicious. Do you have a Carmel cake recipe.I love to find a good one. Keep up the good work. Love to see young ladies cooking. My passion
God bless you! May the Lord continue to find favor in your gift & your life.
I’ve been MIA for a while, but I’m back and wanted to say congrats. You’re well on your way to making it big. Your family must be so proud. I’ve always wanted to be a chef, but never had the confidence, but seeing you make your dreams come true has really motivated me to pursue my love of food. Good luck and I’m so proud of you.
God bless and much continued success!
Congratulations Monique!!! Picking up a copy today!!!
You have made it easy for me, a single 27 year old who never cooked, to cook and knock folks off their feet! I figured I better learn to cook so I can catch a man and I’m being serious. But yes, you have made it easy for me to be a cook. I could bake but couldn’t cook. So again, thank you and congrats on your article.
Congrats to you!
Thank you luv!
Thanks to this post I just realized my BE issues have been seriously delayed. Can’t wait to see your article, Monique. I’m planning on sneak peeking on my grocery trip today…shhhh. 🙂 Glad you are getting the recognition you deserve! Keep doing you and as always, thanks for sharing with your fans!!
