strawberry fruit dip recipes

Down here in the South, I’m still enjoying the last fresh flavors of summer before Autumn completely takes over with her pumpkin spice everything!

I snagged some late summer fruit from the Farmer’s Market and created the most amazing, fluffy cream cheese fruit dip. It reminds me of my grandmother’s no-bake strawberry cheesecake! So good!

Of course, this fluffy cream cheese fruit dip doesn’t have to be just for Spring and summer produce! It’s equally amazing with Fall favorites like fresh apple slices, pears, grapes, and even cinnamon-roasted pumpkin!

It also makes a great dip for dessert trays; think pound cake cubes, pretzels, graham crackers, marshmallows, etc.

The BEST Homemade Cream Cheese Fruit Dip

What I love most about this cream cheese fruit dip, besides it being so easy to make, is that it tastes so incredibly fresh. Toss the artificial-tasting strawberry fruit dips that come in those premade fruit trays and make this recipe! Here’s more to love about it:

  • All-Natural: No artificial dyes, colors, or flavors.
  • Best Texture Ever: So fluffy and light! It clings perfectly to any fruit!
  • No marshmallow fluff/marshmallow creme
  • Easily customizable: Replace the strawberries with your favorite berry or soft fruit.
  • Delicious! A true crowd-pleasing recipe that you’ll want to keep in the stash!

Common Cream Cheese Fruit Dip Questions

Can I use Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese? Yes, but note that if you use yogurt, the fruit dip will be much looser in texture since this recipe consists of blended fresh strawberries. The cream cheese provides stability to create the perfect whipped, yet creamy texture.

Is this considered a marshmallow fruit dip? No, this dip does not contain marshmallow cream. It is considered a cream cheese fruit dip.

Can I add chocolate to make it a chocolate fruit dip? I’ve never turned this particular recipe into a chocolate fruit dip. If you are looking for a chocolate dip (like fondue) try this recipe.

Can I leave out the strawberries? Yes, but the texture will be a bit thick. The strawberries add just the right amount of liquid to keep the cream cheese soft and whipped.

Can this fruit dip be made ahead of time? Yes! This fruit dip can be served immediately for a whipped texture, or made a few hours before and chilled for a firmer texture.
