3-4tablespoonsfresh parsleyI used dried, but fresh tastes better in this
1/4cupBBQ sauceI used Sweet Baby Rays
1-2Tablespoonof Worcestershire sauce
3sliceswheat breadtoasted, crumbled
1cupChargrill BBQ Sauce
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add onions and cook until almost tender.
Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Pour onions, garlic, and butter into a large bowl.
Add remaining ingredients to the bowl, (except for the glaze ingredients)
Use your hands to mix together.
Fry up a small portion of the meat as a "test patty" to make sure the seasonings are good.
Place the meat mixture into a loaf pan.
Mix together glaze ingredients.
Spread half of the glaze mixture on the meatloaf.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and spread on the rest of the glaze.
Bake for another 30 minutes or until the meatloaf is ready.
Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
Feel free to add in bell peppers, celery, herbs and even cheese (Isaac loves when I make cheeseburger meatloaf)
Be careful not to overcook. Check it after 45 minutes just to be on the safe side.
Use a good quality lean ground beef.
