3 to 4ozdog safe baby food or pureed foodI used chicken & apple

1- 1 1/2cupswhole wheat flour
3/4cupcaroboptional
1/2cuppanko/ breadcrumbsoptional
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350
Add baby food to a large bowl.
Add egg and salt.
Whisk until well combined.
Slowly stir in flour until a soft dough forms.
Place the dough on a flour surface
Pat the dough out until it is about 1/4 inch thick.
Cut out shapes with a cookie cutter.
Place on a lined baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes for soft treats and 30-35 for crunchy.
Let cool.
Melt carob in the microwave in 10 second intervals, stirring after each interval, until partially melted. Do not overcook or carob will become thick.
Dip the dog treats in carob and sprinkle with bread crumbs.
Place dipped treats in the refrigerator until carob hardens.
Store in an airtight container.
Notes
~Tips~
If you want to color the dough, use rice flour and light colored baby food (chicken/turkey) as it's lighter in color and won't require as much food coloring.
Want white coating instead of brown? Use yogurt coating chips. They are safe for dogs and can be dyed different colors if needed. Check Amazon.com.
Some dog LOVE carob and some don't. Never leave your dog unattended with a treat.
