Ingredients
1/2cupbuttersoftened
1/2cupgranulated sugar
1/4cupbrown sugarpacked
1teaspoonvanilla extract
1cupflourUsed pasteurized flour, if you're nervous about raw flour
1/2teaspoonsalt
1cupmini semi-sweet chocolate chips
2cupsmilk chocolate chips
vegetable oilif needed
Instructions
In a large bowl cream together butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar.
Mix in vanilla extract.
Mix in flour and salt until a dough forms.
Stir in mini chocolate chips.
Using a mini ice cream scoop, scoop out dough and roll into a ball.
Place cookie dough balls on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper
Freeze for about 30 minutes or until partially frozen.
Melt milk chocolate chips according to package, adding a little vegetable oil if needed.
Dip cookie dough balls into melted chocolate and let excess drip off. (see note)
Place back on pan and place into fridge until chocolate has firmed up.
Store in the fridge.

Notes
To dip the frozen balls I inserted a wooden skewer into them. (Be careful not to insert it too far into the dough or the ball will split in half. Use a small, deep bowl for the chocolate so that all you'll have to do is dip the balls straight down and then back out.
