Ingredients

unsalted butter
softened

brown sugar
packed
1/2

granulated sugar

egg

egg yolk

teaspoon
vanilla extract

all-purpose flour

baking soda
1/4
teaspoon
salt
1/2
cup
unsweetened cocoa powder

cup
semi-sweet chocolate chips
divided
1/4
cup
dark chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Line a pizza pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
In a large bowl cream together butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar.
Mix in egg and egg yolk.
Mix in vanilla extract. Set aside.
In a medium-size bowl whisk together flour, baking soda, salt and unsweetened cocoa powder until well combined.
Combined dry ingredients into wet ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.
Fold in 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Press dough into prepared pizza pan. (flour hands if dough is too sticky)
Press dark chocolate chips lightly into the dough.
Bake on middle rack for 6-8 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool on pan.
Once the cookie has cooled, melt remaining 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips and drizzle over cookie.
Let cool until chocolate is is firm.
Slice and serve topped with ice cream.
