I’m in LOVE!!! I never thought I’d be in love with a dish liquid. I thought they were all pretty much the same but I was wrong!! I can honestly say that I’ve now switched over to Seventh Generation dish liquid.
I would have never purchased this stuff if I hadn’t received it in a giveaway. I normally just grab my Dawn and keep it moving.
Well I washed dishes last night with the Fresh Citrus & Ginger scent and the lather was incredible! I only needed a small amount and my dishes were literally squeaky clean.
Guess what else I discovered this stuff was super good at? Washing my dog! I know this isn’t intended for dog shampoo but I’ve heard that Dawn doubled as a good dog shampoo so why not. I mean, it is natural. I ran out of dog shampoo and decided to try it. It got her so clean and she smelled better than when I take her to the groomers!!
The organic dish towels are GREAT too!! Thick and sturdy just how I like them! I was hoping I could find more when I went grocery sopping today but I didn’t see any. I haven’t had a chance to use any of the other products in the kit, but I do plan on making a turkey vegetable lasagna tomorrow so I’ll give that Le Crueset pan a spin!

I love to use my orange peels and lemon peels in the garbage disposal…Also, love the freshness of using lemon juice on countertops!
I use baking soda and white vinegar as an all purpose cleaner and deodorizer.
Use cloth instead of paper: towels, wipes, diapers, napkins, bags, etc.
Hi Diva:) My crock pot has become my best friend since I started going green. It cuts down on the amount of electricity. For a meal that requires one hour to cook in an electric oven, and which uses 2.7 pounds of C02, a crockpot uses 0.9 pounds of CO2 for 7 hours. Not to mention the monstrous amounts I can cook at one time and don’t have to even spend lots of time in the kitchen the rest of the week. I also wash in cold water it saves a ton on my water bill each month. I used to pay close to $50.00 a month for my water bill. My last bill was $27.00.
Oops:( I meant to say that I wash my cloths in cold water to cut down on my energy bill and by me modifying the days I wash it saves on my water bill as well. It help to cut my water bill by the amount mentioned above:) Sorry folks:)
ashes from the fireplace..just a little thrown into a gallon of water and letting it sit creates lye water which is an EXCELLENT cleaner, esp for those veggies we purchase from the store that ppl tend to walk up feel, sneeze around, maybe even take a bite of and put back (I’ve seen that a couple of times)
to this you can also add in some lemon, grapefruit, or even lavender essential oil.
Vinegar and baking soda are staples for household cleaning. I use vinegar for glass and removing soapscum. I like using baking soda for freshening the trash can.
