I thought I was slowly getting over my addiction to Nutella. I’ve gone months without having any and then all of a sudden, when I was minding my business,  I see a little boy in a shopping cart at Walma enjoying one of those nutella to-go packs. He looked so peaceful and content. Just him and his Nutella.

It was then I remembered how much joy Nutella brought to my life.  That smooth, thick, creamy, chocolately heaven. I NEEDED it!!! I felt like that shark in finding Nemo. You know, when he was doing so good not eating cute little fish until he got a whiff of Dori’s  blood and went into HAM mode?

Luckily I had 3 tubs of half-eaten Cracktella in the cabinet. I got my fix with 2 spoonfuls and then it began…the nutella creation stage. Almost every nutella addict goes through this stage several times  (totally normal btw) I made nutella cookies, cupcakes, and now popsicles!! Or should I say fudgesicles.

I scored the internet and made several recipes for nutella popsicles, only to be disappointed. They all tasted like frozen chocolate milk. Kinda icy and not creamy and smooth like I was hoping for.  I decided to tinker around with my own recipe and I think I’m content.

These nutella popsicles (fudgesicles) are smooth, silky, sweet and creamy. Remember those addictive pudding pops (Bill Cosby) from back in the day? Well this is what they taste like before they went and screwed up the recipe and discontinued them (why do people  go messing with a good thing???? Huh? Why!?)

Isaac and I I have been nailing these nutella popsicles ALL. DAY. LONG.  And um…they’re gone. Yep. In one day. *hangs head in shame* Sometimes I’m such a bad mommy example, although Isaac thinks it’s super cool that we eat popsicles back to back.

They’re just so doggone addictive!

Go ahead. Make’em. I dare you. No I double dog dare ya!!

Watch me make these nutella popsicles from start finish!

~TIPS~
Now if you go changing the recipe around (substituting the condensed milk, etc) I can't promise anything. I've never tried to lighten up this recipe, nor do I want to : )
The coconut milk REALLY kicks up that Nutella taste!
