I love cooking with onions, fish and garlic..mmm…that sound like the makings of a delicious dish right there *making mental note* but those smells can be hell to get out of your hands. I can recall many times when I’ve had to walk around with smelly onion hands because no amount of soap would get the smell out. I even tried those strong bath & body works hand soaps! And let me tell you if you can smell it then others can smell it too…. times 10!+

Finally An Easy Way To Odorless Hands At Last!

To remove the smell of onions, fish or garlic from your hands simply rub them back & forth on a stainless steel sink and then wash your hands with warm soapy water. Yep, that’s it!!!! And it really works, try it! You can even buy stainless steel soaps designed just for this purpose.

Why does it work? I’ve yet to find any info on the logistics of this technique. Some say that sulfur from the onion/garlic/fish is attracted to and binds with one or more of the metals in stainless steel. Therefore the smell leaves your hands and binds to the stainless steel.

Personally, I don’t care how or why it works. If it’s free, safe and effective I’m all over it!!
