Visual learner? Watch me make these Real Fruit Mixed Berry Wine Slushies From Start To Finish!

Gaaaah what is it about wine slushies that have me freaking hooked!!!??? Oh yeah, it’s wine! And it’s so close to summertime I can almost taste it!

Bring on those lazy pool days! My cellulite is ready to make her debut!!!

Wine makes me feel extra happy! (Warning: I’ve been drinking it.) But now that I think about…. just about any food or drink makes me feel extra happy. Oh and colorful tulips, tiny puppies, and mice feet (mice have the cutest little feet)!

Don’t judge me. I’m pretty sure you have some weird things that make you oddly happy too huh? Tell me. I want to know!

Ok, back to wine! Stay focused sister!

I’m just now starting to get into wine. I know. What’s wrong with me! I’ve been a coffee addict for the longest, and I’ve always enjoyed wine, but like now I’m reeeeeally starting to enjoy it.

Afterall, wine is healthy right? It’s from the earffff!

Today I’ve got another wine slushie recipe for you to try!

Mixed Berry!!

Mercy, these wine slushies are so good! Something about them makes me feel all sexy and sophisticated drinking it! Ha! I probably look crazy though!

I mean, mama mia look at how gorgeously dark and sensual she is!

And let me tell ya, it’s bursting at the seams with fresh berry flavor! Perfect as a poolside companion, right?

When my girls come over, they pretty much expect to find these little wine cubes of happiness in the freezer.

We throw a few in the blender, make up a quick batch of these nachos, grab a comfy spot in the sunroom and let the tea spilling-venting-business talk-book discussion, sessions begin!

The beauty of these wine slushies is that you can pretty much use any fruit you like, fresh or frozen! Strawberry is always a favorite, as well as a tropical punch blend of mangos, pineapples, strawberries, and coconut.

The fun really goes off the charts (do people still say that?) when you start playing around with fruits+herbs+wine flavors!

Use your favorite sweet red wine for this. I always use a red muscadine wine because it goes great with berries.

Oh, about the powdered sugar. Yeah, you can go easy on the powdered sugar, but don’t leave it out mmm-kay. Berries can be a bit tart, and the sugar helps to bring out that berrylicious flavor even more. Promise.

I never need to add any liquid to wine cubes when I blend them. The wine cubes have a soft freeze, thanks to the alcohol, so they turn into the perfect slushy texture with only a few pulses. However, you can add a splash of wine to thin it out a bit if desired.

More on that another time. With berry season approaching, it’s time to stock your freezer with mixed berry wine slushie cubes! This one is a roundtable favorite with my crew!

Throw those wine glasses in the freezer, whip up a batch of these mixed berry wine slushies, and you are ready for some serious chill time.

I’m free this evening btw.
