The BEST S'mores Popcorn Balls
Recipe type: popcorn ball
Serves: 12 balls
  • 9 cups popcorn, popped (I used kettle corn)
  • 1 cup graham crackers, roughly crushed
  • 7 oz Jet-Puffed marshmallow cream
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 cup Hershey's milk chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon shortening
  • white chocolate (optional)
  • graham crack crumb, for decoration
  1. Place popcorn in a large bowl.
  2. Add crush graham crackers. Set aside.
  3. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat.
  4. Add marshmallow cream and stir until melted.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract and remove from heat.
  6. Pour marshmallow mixture over popcorn.
  7. Stir quickly to coat the popcorn in the marshmallow.
  8. Melt chocolate chips and shortening in the microwave until completely melted. Stir frequently to prevent burning the chocolate.
  9. Dip half of the popcorn ball into the chocolate, let the excess drip off.
  10. Sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs.
  11. Place a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  12. Place in the refrigerator until chocolate hardens.
  13. Drizzle with melted chocolate if desired.
  14. Let white chocolate harden and then package if desired.
~TIPS~ Remember to squeeze tight when forming the balls. Decorate them how you like! You can even dye the marshmallow!
