Baked Omelet Recipe

Ingredients
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 eggs
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ green bell pepper
  • ⅓ small onion
  • ½ cup smoked turkey sausage, chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • Sour cream (optional but so recommended)
  • Salsa (optional but so recommended)
  • Parsley, garnish
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees
  2. Add milk to a bowl.
  3. Add all-purpose flour.
  4. Whisk until flour dissolves.
  5. Add in the eggs.
  6. Add the salt and pepper.
  7. Whisk to combine.
  8. Set aside.
  9. Chop the smoked turkey sausage, green bell pepper and onion.
  10. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  11. Sauté until peppers are tender.
  12. Set aside.
  13. Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  14. Pour in the egg mixture.
  15. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until firm.
