Milk & Honey Soap
Serves: 12 bars
  • 1 lb. Goat milk soap base
  • 2 Tablespoons honey
  • 2 capsules vitamin E (squeeze the oil out)
  • 1 Tablespoon body oil ( Use your favorite! I'm using a mixture of sweet almond & argan)
  • Fragrant oil and colorant (optional, see note)
  1. Cut soap based into small squares.
  2. Microwave or heat in a double-boiler until melted (I microwaved in a glass measuring cup)
  3. Stir in honey, vitamin E, and your favorite oil.
  4. Add fragrance and color if using. ( I don't use any)
  5. Pour mixture into soap mold.
  6. Let set until completely firm.
  7. Pop soap out of soap mold and wrap tightly in plastic wrap.
  8. Package in an airtight container.
I choose to leave this soap free of fragrance and color. The natural fragrance is very light and smells of fresh milk, honey with a hint of almond. The natural color is a pale creamish-yellow.

If you wish to add fragrance or color, start by adding a a drop at a time until desired color and fragrance is reached.
