Creamy Pasta, Sausage & Tomato Skillet Meal
“Is it ready yet?” is something I hear the minute my son discovers I’m making one of his favorite pasta dishes, this one!
This creamy pasta, sausage and tomato skillet meal is kid and picky-adult friendly. I mean can you really go wrong with pasta, sausage, cheese, and tomatoes? It’s super simple to make, filling, and flavorful. The simple whipping cream sauce gets a super boost of flavor from the fresh garlic, onions, smokey sausage and fresh tomatoes!
Let me tell you, on busy weekdays I live for quick and easy skillet meals like this. Pair it up with some homemade garlic bread, a salad and BAM! A home-cooked dinner is done in 30 minutes!
Sometimes I’ll add broccoli, spinach or sweet peas to give it a burst of color if I have some on hand.
Here’s the smoked turkey sausage that I use. I get it from Walmart, Target or Harris Teeter. Feel free to use other sausages like sweet Italian sausage.

I made this for me and my hubby tonight. I used italian sausage, and added a little green bell pepper. It was Amazing. A new favorite!! Thanks so much for the video.
I am sitting here now with a big plate of this pasta. It is off the hook, I use some polk sausage that I brought back to calif from Mississippi when I was traveling. I will be making this again real soon.So very easy to put together my kind of meal.TFS
That’s my kinda meal… so much better than those boxed meals. I love, love, love pasta so I’m definitely making this. Thanks!
Ok, I made this yesterday and had to come back to report! This was really good, it was my first time using heavy whipping cream (i know, i’m late) to make a sauce and I was so impressed. The only thing I changed was, that I used a can of diced tomatoes instead of fresh which was still juicy and good. Next time, I will use Italian sausage. My husband likes meat and thought the smoked sausge reminded him of hot dogs.. lol.. (smh, men..) I always make the same things for dinner, so I’m glad to have a new recipe to fall back on. Everyone loved it and I made a big pan. When I got home from work last night, I was so happy to know I had some more leftover in the fridge. I smashed it while I watched my show. Thanks!
My sister makes something similar to this and she adds chicken and shrimp to it too. I call it white jambalaya! It’s soo good!
