Bacon Wrapped Chicken Tenders
Bacon + Chicken.  This sounds like a win already, but add on lots of savory spices and a chili powder- brown sugar mixture and my friends let me tell ya, you have a  triple threat. The perfect blend of sweet-smokey-spicy. I made this for lunch and we loved it. Even Isaac liked it which was surprising because they have a little spicy kick to them and that boy does not like spiciness.
I wasn’t sure how I was gonna like it seeing that the chicken and bacon was tossed in brown sugar and chili powder and I don’t really like sweet tasting meat too much. Boy was I wrong. It was sweet but the other flavors totally balanced it all out. It was like a little party of flavors in my mouth, all happily mingling together. When they are served piping hot out of the oven they really taste like they’ve been grilled!
I’ve had something very similar to this in a bite-size, appetizer form but the chicken wasn’t seasoned before-hand so I wasn’t all that impressed. Seasoning makes them like whoa! Â You can really throw on any seasonings that you like but I’ve included a blend below that I like to use. It’s simple.
Serve with broccoli and mashed potatoes for super yummy meal!

I’m so happy that I found your site. Your recipes have helped me save dinner many a night. 🙂 This particular recipe is now my husband’s new favorite. Tonight will be my second time this week making these tenders for him. Thank you so much for sharing your recipes.
This was suberb, first try brilliant, but the coating was a bit sharp !! I loved it , wife is still drinking !! Lol !! Thank you !!
Hello! So I made this reciepe and totally over read the “sprinkle” part. I doused the bacon in Creole and brown sugar. It was over powering! But! If you cut up the pieces and make them into orderves it isn’t as over powering!
Extremely delicious!!! Thank you for this recipe! 🙂
I will be making these tonight. I also plan on making your m&m cookie bars. I’m so excited. I’ve been obsessed with you ever since my friend made your creamy cheeseburger soup. It was absolutely the best thing I ate in a really long time. It was perfection. :)) love you !!
I made this tonight to use up some chicken breast that I had thawed. After tenderizing and slicing the chicken into strips, I improvised a little based on ingredients on hand (I can’t believe that I keep forgetting to buy garlic powder) and the rest of my family’s severe lack of affection for spiciness (substituting turmeric for chili powder.) Oh, and I better not forget the dash of mild curry powder added to the seasoning mix (for s&g) and a bit of overkill on the brown sugar (to ensure that each piece had enough packed on, top and bottom.) Even my daughter, the pickiest of them all, enjoyed it.
