Apple Fritter Coffee Cake
Watch me make this Apple Fritter Coffee Cake from start to finish!!
*******WARNING****  This apple fritter coffee cake is so light, moist, fluffy and delicious that you will more than likely have two slices back to back. Don’t be too hard on yourself if  when  this happens. Just blame me and Nerdy Baker and move on. I can take it. (My husband told me to put this warning on this post)
If you love apple desserts just as much as I do then brace yourself for this baby. This apple fritter coffee cake packs all the flavor of homemade apple fritters in each bite. The cake is lightly sweetened with a buttery cinnamon flavor, the apples are perfectly tart and sweet and that perfect glaze hardens up beautifully just like on an apple fritter. GENIUS!
We love coffee in this house and coffee just isn’t right if it doesn’t have something sinful to go along with it. Yayyyy for cakes for breakfast!! The whole thing was gone in 24 hours, no lie. I’m not proud of this but it is what it is.
I am happy to permanently add this recipe to my coffee cake favorites like this cinnamon roll coffee cake and this Frencvanilla blueberry streusel coffee cake. Yum!!!
I saw this recipe on Nerdy Baker and adapted it to our liking and my occassional laziness. It is a WINNER for sure!!! My son would eat this everyday if I let him.

Notes
I made this last night and it came out amazing, just like your recipes always do! The cake was moist, flavorful, the apples were soft and tender, and that brown sugar topping combined with the hardened icing sugar really was the cherry on top. I brought it into work (cause I will eat it all myself, otherwise) and a co-worker told me she’s tried many apple cakes in her life, but this was the best. Thank you so much for sharing your recipes diva, I will definitely be making this again! 🙂
I am soooo popular after our friend’s annual Oscar Nite potluck! I made this and it was such a hit that the few leftovers were immediately grabbed up by departing guests. I’ve put this into my Recipe Treasures box and will be making many times in the future! Absolutely delicious! So simple!
This is a really great recipe. The brown sugar and cinnamon topping can be skipped completely in this recipe because it’s sweet on its own; a definite keeper!
I’ve just made this, very good! All my family enjoyed this, Thanks for the recipe, Diva!!
Let the mixture brew for 3-4 minutes, resisting the temptation to
lift the lid and let a little of the fragrance escape.
Many beauty companies are taking advantage of this ingredient on the market and including it within
their facial and body care product lines. As the foam
is the essence of Turkish coffee we have to make it enough
so the coffee will have distinct flavor.
Oh my Goodness, this cake is delicious. I used a bundt pan instead of the 9X13 and it turned out great. Since giving up fried food for lent, I have really missed my Apple fritters and this hit the spot. This will stay in our recipe book, thank you for an easy to follow recipe that wows!
