light brown sugar
packed

cup
granulated sugar

tablespoons
butter
melted

eggs
room temperature

egg yolk
room temperature

cup
evaporated milk
warmed
1/4
cup
heavy whipping cream
warmed
1 1/2
teaspoon
vanilla extract
1 1/2
teaspoons
cinnamon
1/2
teaspoon
nutmeg
1/4 - 1/2
teaspoon
ginger
1/4
teaspoon
clove
pinch
of salt
optional

can
15 oz pure pumpkin puree (Libby's)
1
teaspoon
pure maple syrup
not extract, optional
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F.
In a large bowl, gently cream together brown sugar, granulated sugar, and butter.
Mix in eggs and egg yolk.
Mix in evaporated milk, heavy whipping cream, and vanilla extract.
Mix in spices and pumpkin puree.
Pour into prepared pie crust.
Bake for 60 minutes or until pie is set (center may be a tad jiggly which is ok.)
Let pie cool until cool temperature.
Cover and refrigerate overnight (make sure pie is completely cooled before covering)
Let come to room temperature.
Serve.
