I can never pass up the opportunity to go into a doggy bakery if I’m strolling downtown. They are just so cutesy with their “barkers” dozen sprinkled cupcakes and gourmet drizzle cookies.  The treats always look so yummy! It’s hard to believe they are for only dogs with how pretty they look. Sucks!

When I got my chihuahua almost 9 years ago I’d always buy her these lil overpriced doggie biscuits dipped in carob and covered in sprinkles. She loved them! They were 5 for $5 and when I realized just how easy they are to make I stopped buying them.

Notes

~Tips~
If you want to color the dough, use rice flour and light colored baby food (chicken/turkey) as it's lighter in color and won't require as much food coloring.
Want white coating instead of brown? Use yogurt coating chips. They are safe for dogs and can be dyed different colors if needed. Check Amazon.com.
Some dog LOVE carob and some don't. Never leave your dog unattended with a treat.
