I never thought I’d be listing a recipe for water. But recently I took some time out to get my little piggies sandal-ready by getting a grand pedicure.  While I was there I decided to sample a drink called “Refreshing & Renewing Spa Water” after hearing another woman rave about how good it was.

They bring me out a glass and a vase of water with some lemon slices & cucumbers in it…hmmm…pretty…but not really what I thought it was going to be.

It was good though; cool, crisp and fresh tasting. I did feel renewed so mission accomplished. I happily pay for my grand pedicure and the lady says “oh and the spa drink will be $7.50″ I‘m thinking “what the heezy, for some water, cucumbers, and lemons!!?!”

Geez! Of course I remained classy and kept my thoughts to myself.  Before going home I headed to Walmart and picked up these “spa water” ingredients. Since then I have been sipping on spa water everyday and it only cost me .97 cents for multiple pitchers AND it taste much better than what I had at the spa! Take that overpriced spa people!!!! : )

Notes
Quick Note- If you aren’t a fan of lemons in your water then you are going to hate this. The lemons add a tartness and the cucumbers add a real fresh taste. Whenever I’ve craving a sweeterwater I’ll add in a few ripe orange slices and some fresh mint leaves. This is such a girly drink. My husband refuses to touch it. More for me!! When the water gets low in the pitcher I just refill it over and over again.

Grab a magazine, kick your feet up and sip away!

Great for after a workout.
