Congratulations on your first cookbook! I just ordered and downloaded my copy…I’ll be even happier when I replace my color toner cartridge tomorrow and print it out! This past Christmas season I was frantically looking for a fabulous cream cheese pound cake recipe. I had gotten a recipe from a client about 10 years ago and my family and friends loved it! It was unique because the recipe called for no milk or any other liquid, yet the cake was moist and light and the best pound cake that I have ever had. Each time I did an online search the recipes that I saw had milk included…well, I gave up for a couple of years and decided to try again for Christmas 2011. You cannot imagine the JOY that I had when I discovered the “Divas can cook website!” Not only was it what I was looking for, with the ingredients listed; but, there is a mini video with Bill Withers singing “Grandma’s Hands.” It has Grandma’s hands literally guiding us modern day divas through the entire process! I kept stopping and rewinding and got it! My family and friends were delighted and my bosses were thrilled because I baked them one also.
